Video production & photography
Real people. Real stories.
I'm Stefán Drengsson, a filmmaker and photographer. I help businesses show who they are through the people, work and moments that make them worth knowing.
There's a story in what you actually do.
AI can generate an image. I'm interested in what happens when you show up: the conversation, the craft, the unexpected moment. I meet the people, ask questions and capture the details that make your business its own.
The result is video and photography rooted in real experience, shaped into a story people can understand and connect with.
What we can create together
Video production
Films that bring people closer to your business. Interviews, company stories, customer experiences and short videos for your website and social channels. I develop the story, film it and shape the final edit around what you want people to understand.
Photography
People, places and work, photographed with an eye for the moments that matter. Portraits, workplaces and images of your business in action, for your website, communication and social media. Available as a standalone assignment or alongside a film.
Bring it all together
Websites
Clear, considered websites that give your business and its content a strong home, with an easy next step for visitors.
Marketing & social media
Help with the message, the content and how to use it. From campaign ideas and copy to short videos, photographs and posts adapted for your channels.
We can work on a single project or build a regular flow of content together. You can also commission a website or marketing support on its own.
I'm Stefán Drengsson.
I'm a filmmaker, photographer and journalist based in Reykjavík. My background spans investigative journalism, documentary storytelling and communication for businesses.
I've worked on RÚV's investigative programme Kveikur and in corporate communications at Alvotech. That experience has taught me to find the story, ask useful questions and turn complex subjects into something people can understand.
What draws me to this work is meeting people and discovering what matters to them. I bring that curiosity to every assignment, whether it's a film, a portrait or a website that needs to express who you are.
You work directly with me, from the first conversation to the finished result.

From the first conversation to the finished work
Find the focus.
We discuss what you want to communicate, who it is for and where it will appear.
Create the material.
I plan and produce the film, photographs or website around that purpose.
Make it ready to use.
We review the work and prepare the agreed versions for the places you need them.
What would you like people to see?
Tell me a little about your business and what you have in mind. Whether you need a film, photographs, a website or help bringing it together, we can start with a conversation.
